A thoroughly fascinating interview, you managed to get a lot of great stuff discussed there. Suddenly the whole idea of magic that I’ve heard associated with him makes sense!

Two thumbs & a double helping of kudos!

One thing I was itching for you to raise when the subject of his opinions of the industry (as opposed to the medium) and creative ownership came up was Leo Baxendale and Mick Anglo. Any chance you could ring him back and do an addendum? 😉

PS I also enjoyed the rest of the Comic Month output – the Kev F Sutherland, Paul Gravett & CBLDF pieces were each excellent in their own way too. And it was fascinating to hear such different opinions on the health of comics today, when essentially they were in agreement on so much of the past.

Well, I’ll be doing more shows on comics on a monthly basis, so if I don’t get to talk to Alan again, I’ll see if I can find someone else who might be able to talk about creative ownership… Or did you want Alan in particular since he took over Mick Angelo’s Miracleman?
