Karrie Fransman exhibition

This solo exhibition by comic creator Karrie Fransman‘s (The Guardian, The Times, Random House) plays with the boundaries of the comic medium by fitting comics in weird and wonderful places- dolls houses, jewellery boxes and quilts. With the advance of digital technologies, comics are escaping their paper covers and spilling out into the world, becoming visual and interactive.

To mark the opening of the exhibition, Karrie will be joined by Comics Journalist Paul Gravett and experimental comics pioneer Daniel Merlin Goodbery for a panel discussion on Thursday June 21st, at 7:30pm.

Exhibition runs from 22nd June – 19 July

Sina Sparrow exhibition at Blush Bar

Small press creator Sina Sparrow (aka Sina Evil) is exhibiting a selection of his recent comics work entitled ‘Girls and boys’, featuring deconstruction of homoerotic superhero art and homages to Donna Summer.
