John Kameel Farah draws on his various electronic, classical and Middle Eastern influences to create a music which is intensely personal, political and often downright groovy. Based variously in Toronto and Berlin, he toured the UK this summer, and on 23 July Free Lab Radio was delighted to welcome him to Borough High Street to perform live in session and talk about the meanings behind his music.
