Hello Harry Kipper, amazing name... I can't tell if you're appreciative or having a dig. Maybe you have to be interested in experimental film to get anything out of this particular programme.

these podcasts seem very important to shed some light on the world.
I really hope we can recover them somehow! x

...don't mean to be rude but........
I was initially interested in this content so started reading the blurb.......INCOMPREHENSIBLE!
Unreadable "art-speak" prose. I am an artist, too, but this language is beyond me- and probably most others. It's a shame as it alienates one from the core of the piece of work. it's off-putting.
it might be about something relevant to me but I just wouldn't know!
Simple language please.
Thank you
Jilly
Ps: love Resonance x

Thanks! I've always wondered what was on the record sent with the Voyager spacecrafts. It's now about 35 years later and I'd forgotten about it entirely. I have an idea that many years from now, maybe eons, an alien civilization might come across one of the Voyagers and actually figure out how to listen to it. Given the very nature of organic life as it relates to the Universe, I'm sure they'd have some kind organ(s) for hearing.
Now, if the spacecrafts are discovered, I hope the people/aliens that find it are friendly and offer the inhabitants of Earth nothing but good intentions. Otherwise, we may become the victims of Interstellar terrorism.
But, if any civilization has the ability to travel across vast distances of space I would hope that they'd be more interested in making friends rather than wage war. Maybe they would be interested in commerce as well.
Anyway, despite their would-be intentions, nothing would interest me more than if they believe in God, angels, heaven, hell or dozens of other faiths unheard of by mankind. It'd be interesting to determine if they had their saviors and evil historic figures. Or maybe they have a philosophy that makes more sense than religious dogma.
Maybe they'll just broadcast their history towards the Earth in hope that we might understand how to save thier civilization form destruction. In that case, good luck, fellow lifeforms ... you'll need it!

Hi Mr Trunk and folks,

Loving the podcasts, fantastic music! Loving the higher quality 320kbs upload too.

Being an audiophile I just wanted to let you know that 320kbps isn't CD quality although it is the highest MP3 quality available. MP3 files are perceptually transparent, meaning that although they are not "full" CD quality in the sense that lossless files can produce bit-for-bit reproductions, they can sound equivilent.

Apple Lossless (and other lossless codecs, like FLAC) files are "full" CD quality if you are encoding from a CD. They are mathematically lossless, meaning that you could convert a WAV rip to Apple Lossless, convert that Apple Lossless file back to WAV, and you would get an exact bit-for-bit match between the two files.

Hope that hasn't just sounded pedantic.

Cheers!

A stroppy robot AND an android doppelganger in one shew? Are you trying to mess with my brain? And your droppings are a bloody nuisance. Every other tree in Epping Forest has one wedged in it. The rangers have you in their sites, mate. You'll be done for littering. Think you're radical? You need help. You're a candidate for the Turner Prize. Need I say more?
Great show.
