Even with my headphones at top volume I can't hear this - would it be possible PLEASE to add captions or a transcript of the interview? Please, this is very important to me and might be for other deaf or partially deaf people. Thank you. Maria

I happened across this collection of podcasts by accident. What a rich, inciteful, informed broadcast series, with great music. The podcasts should be preserved in the London and national museums so as to inform future generations. Thank you for such a magnificent series - I look forward with great pleasure to dipping in from time to time. Congratulations for producing such high quality.

Very happy to hear the Unit session and interview. They're a difficult band to categorise but it's refreshing to hear some politics in music being played on the radio. Nice one!

This may be somewhat churlish, but surely the word (used several
times, both in the title & the text above) is 'Thief'?

Interesting that the author's name also appears to be incorrect,
though that is possibly a form of personal choice. Doesn't bode
well for a literary career though...

First, I stumbled upon a hilarious piece about a character doing the police in different voices. I couldn't stop reading.

But then the piece ended. One click led to another, and I landed on this brilliant podcast.

My poor wife lost patience with me for cackling. Great stuff.

Hi,

I found your site looking for a recording of Mr. Burton's fabulous narration of ST-C's Rime of the Ancient … . I have an LP recording of it, but I was hoping someone else had done the hard work (starting with digging it out of my old LP collection) of converting it to digital format. You have, and I thank you.

It seems (in response to the question in this episode) that there have been two Argo Records, one in the US that started in 1955 as a subsidiary of Chicago-based Chess Records, and one started in 1951 in the UK. The US label later became Cadet Records. The UK label was bought by Decca, continued for a time but was later absorbed. Decca resumed the Argo label in 1990, and it continues today. Though I haven't found direct confirmation, the recording was almost certainly made by the UK Argo.

You can read more about each at the following links:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argo_Records_%28UK%29
http://www.argo-records.com/home.html

I hope this information is in some way a sufficient sign of my gratitude.
