Reporting from glamourous Brixton, Ron Breful presents dictaphone recordings of empty rooms where aural manifestations are said to have taken place. If that wasn’t scary enough, somewhere in amongst all this is a cameo appearance by an actual improvising musician!

Harmon’s fortunes take a turn for the worse when he ends up in hospital, having injected his wrinkly buttocks with enough dioxin to kill a tank. There, as fate would have it, he meets a familiar depressive Australian pop star working as an orderly with a criminal bedside manner. Finally he undergoes an operation on his failed arse, the end result of which you won’t be able to foretell.

Plundering broadcasts from recent and not-so-recent times, The Harmon e. Phraisyar Show struggles to find a meaningful or progressive discourse, gets confused and drifts off into space for a moody thirty minutes of hovering floatiness.

His sinister new landlady, Mrs. Bassetthorn briefs Mr. e on the method of his escape: he’s to do away with a professor bound for Iraq and take on her identity. Musical interludes feature aeroplanes, fast trains, heavy metal, radio and shadowy transmissions.

We hear from a ghostly voice emitting unintelligible, half-composed sentences and a far-right-wing loony who wants to eradicate pensioners, interspersed with apocalyptic grooves and cyber-army marches.

Warning: This episode features sinister nocturnal activities and bogus archaeology.

Now he’s popped out the other end “like toothpaste from a tube”… but which of the multitude of infinite paralell universes has he ended up in? This question and many others will be answered in this week’s fun-packed episode of the Harmon e. Phraysier show.

Concerned by Harmon’s inability to organise an escape plot, Harmon is forced to attend iprov / storytelling evening, in which the residents exchange strange stories around a camp fire.
